Shinjuku`s infamous red-light district isn`t only about sex clubs and streetwalkers - there`s also yakuza, Nigerian crime gangs and all kinds of other goodies. That said, the area is also home to some high-class restaurants and entertainment options. Not truly dangerous, it`s always a fascinating place to poke your head into, although it`s best to be wary late at night. If you`re the type of person who`d actually like to try out these, ahem, adult establishments, I wish you the best of luck - most of them are not exactly foreigner friendly.
